The Divine Word College of Bangued (DWCB) headed by Fr. Gil Manalo, SVD invites its alumni, past and present employees, students, teachers, and administrators to submit inspiring stories about their experiences or the people they met in DWCB for the “Search for 100 Stories” in preparation for the DWCB Centennial Celebration in 2020.

Centennial souvenir committee chair Leticia P. Madriaga said they will select the best 100 stories as part of the DWCB Centennial Souvenir Book.

Madriaga said the concept of this search is to collect true stories and experiences showing how DWCB’s four core values (excellence, integrity, social responsibility, and evangelization) fostered in their lives.

The criteria are the following:

  • Should be written by alumni, past and present employees, students, teachers, and administrators of DWCB
  • Must be in English or Ilokano
  • Must not be more than 700 words
  • Must follow the rules of grammar and mechanics
  • Must have a literary style
  • Must be well-organized
  • Must have the “Divine Factor” (must show how the core values of DWCB impacted your life)
